Day 1    Arrive in Auckland
Arrive at Auckland airport. Collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 2    Auckland
Breakfast. Today, you can enjoy the city tour of Auckland on your own. Visit Victoria Park Market, West haven Marina and the volcanic crater of Mt Eden for spectacular views of the city and harbor. Overnight in Auckland.
 

Day 3    Auckland- Waitomo -Rotorua
Breakfast.  Drive through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. You can take a guided tour of Waitomo Glowworm Caves, which will be optional. Later proceed to the `Thermal City' of Rotorua. Arrive at Rotorua and proceed to your hotel. Overnight in Rotorua.
 

Day 4    Rotorua
Breakfast.  Today you have an option to visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 5    Rotorua - Christchurch
Breakfast.  Proceed to board your flight for Christchurch . Arrive at Christchurch and pick you your rental car. Proceed to your hotel. Overnight at Christchurch.

Day 6    Christchurch -Mt Cook -Queenstown
Breakfast.  Drive across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the `Church of the Good Shepherd' before continuing on to New Zealand's highest mountain - Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the `Alpine Resort' of Queenstown. Arrive at Queenstown and proceed to your hotel. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 7    Queenstown- Milford Sound- Queenstown
Breakfast.  Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Return to Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown.
 

Day 8    Queenstown
Breakfast.  Day is at leisure. You have option to do Bungee jumping, Jet boating, White water rafting, etc. Overnight in Queenstown.
 

Day 9    Queenstown - Glacier Region
Breakfast.  Drive from Queenstown and travel via Lake Wanaka and through the historic Haast Pass, gateway to the World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers to Fox Glacier. Arrive at Fox Glacier Village and proceed to your hotel. Overnight in Fox Glacier.
 

Day 10    Glacier Region -Christchurch
Breakfast.  Drive to the garden city of Christchurch. Arrive at Christchurch and proceed to your hotel. Overnight at Christchurch.
 

Day 11    Christchurch – Day free
Breakfast.  Day is at leisure. Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 12    Departure
Breakfast.  Today proceed to airport to board your flight back home.
